Kids Workshop: Zoetrope Animation

Ever wonder how people entertained themselves before we had movies? In this workshop, travel back to the 1800s to engineer your own zoetrope. Using a variety of materials, you willcreate a pre-film animation device that produces the illusion of motion by displaying a sequence of drawings showing progressive phases of that motion.

To follow COVID regulations, class sizes are limited to 8 students. Classes will need a minimum of 4 students to occur. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
